Taking
a beta product and turning it into a viable product
We were able to eliminate a problem Akrion was experiencing
in the field-testing of a new robotic product. Akrion
is the technology leader in process development, design
and construction of immersion surface preparation equipment
to the semiconductor and other related industries.
This is a typical, but not easily solved case of a product
working as it should during design but experiencing
a premature malfunction during beta testing. Basically,
the problem was pinch points in the cable carrier that
caused the equipment to shut down. A different cable
carrier was the solution. Beta site equipment was easily
retrofitted and the problem was solved. |
